“Darby”

Darby was a daughter of our own Gambler (Am./Can. Ch. Amberac Dichi Face The Odds and Tory (Dichi’s New Page In History).  She was a superb bitch with
wonderful structure and movement.   Like her mother & grandmother, she was very, very smart!  By the age of 9 weeks, she was beginning to track with her nose.

She received her first point from the puppy classes, and her first major win at 14 months of age.  She finished her championship at 21 months of age with two 4 pt. majors, one 5 pt. major reserve, and one 3 pt. major reserve.  She was also Reserve Winners Bitch at the 2005 GRCA Central Regional.  At the Waukesha KC on 7/31/05, her first time out as a Special, Darby went Best of Breed over 9 Specials under judge Suzanne Hemminger.

Darby’s eyes and heart were registered.  Her hips were registered and rated “GOOD’, and her elbows were registered and rated “NORMAL”.  She had full  dentition with a nice bite, and dark pigment.

Darby earned her Outstanding Dam title on June 12, 2011.

Darby left our lives too soon — a victim to Blastomycosis.  This is a fungal infection gotten from the soil.  It  was introduced to our area after severe flooding that Spring.  We were heart broken to lose her and miss her smiling face every day.
